i bloody loved this. it was slow at the beginning (for 2/3 novellas) but then it really picked up and I LOVED IT SO SO SO MUCH. Born To Endless Night was my fave by far. onto re-reading lady midnight before lord of shadows comes out!!

What an adventurous read! This book allowed readers to feel absolutely grateful for Simon Lewis to exist--that he is a loving machine, a brave brave soul and forever a devoted nerd--representing all vital domains of the Nephilim, downworlders, and mundanes.

Simon's indeed a key player in the beginning and in the future to come.

I loved the voice of Simon through the book and I was never bored. How could you. Its Simon. Just read the book. Just read it.
