The return of a certain beloved character deserved a full length novel, and we got it!
So much fun to see different character's paths converging, and get enough of a page count to read a more involved adventure. Another great read in this series!

I honestly don't know how Martha Wells does it. Usually within a series there is at least one flop but so far each book has just gotten better.
I can't even begin to put into words how much I love this series and how beautifully and thoughtfully crafted it is. Not to mention the wonderful benevolent spaceship - ART has made a return to the pages.
Martha Wells manages to incorporate so many hard hitting and thought provoking topics in a sci fi, action/adventure theme while somehow also making it heart warming and wholesome.
