Enjoyable next installment. Marco’s storyline is a bit unbelievable as it Torquin’s. I enjoy seeing all the pieces start coming together though

Wow. I felt like no time at all passed while I read this book

I'm so glad that things are resolved with Marco!
And that class isn't alone. He is adopted and has a sister!
That ending. I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?
I think the concept of the king being in the statue is so cool!
Such a great book. Amazing. I'm so sad this series has only one more book.

These just kind of end wherever. Author must be limited to a certain number of pages.

This book was wow! And the ending, without giving everything away I'll just say it definitely surprised me and I must read the next book now!

So I'm going to make this quick, the select face a lot more loss in this book and as the series continues it definitely gets darker. It's still somewhat fun and there are still parts that make you laugh, but the laughs are fewer and farther between while the action and hardship increased ten fold.

The characters begin in a dark place, having returned to their lives in the real world with no real hope of survival until an accident shows them that not all is lost yet. They devise a plan that's risky but will hopefully save all their lives. Unfortunately things seem to go wrong for them at every turn of it.

This book is fast paced and will definitely leave you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

This was a really enjoyable book.  I loved the humor, as always, and the puzzles/pictures were really interesting too.  My favorite part in this book was probably Cass.  He's just so sweet and traumatized and I love him.
It was so cool to see him just get so furious at Marco and just being kind of pessimistic the whole time.  Such an interesting way of dealing with his imminent death.
I wasn't a huge fan of how Marco was dealt with in this book.
I didn't really like his redemption arc.  It felt too fast and the forgiveness felt undeserved.
Oh well.  It was still a fun read.
