This was such a cool series! I read the first two books and listened to this installment on Audible. I gotta say, either way you choose to go, you can't lose. Nick Podhel does a great job capturing the spirit of Everlost and giving voice to a motley group of characters.

There was a LOT going on in this book, but I thought it did the story justice and wrapped everything up brilliantly. I appreciated that not everyone got their happy ending. While some of the kids don't 'get to where they're going,' and the story continues for some of the kids, you feel good about our time in Everlost coming to an end at this point. There are no loose ends and no unanswered questions (at least none that I could think of), which is amazing considering the grand scale of Everlost and just how many characters have been introduced over the course of the three books.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and would absolutely recommend it to adults and tweens alike. My very picky 13-year-old son is currently reading Book 1 and has been totally sucked in. He's about 75% done with it, and he's already itching for Book 2. That alone gets this series a five-star rating from me!

The world, the people, the chaos, the resolution - everything is so descriptive that by the end, I feel like I am also leaving behind the “stunningly beautiful and hauntingly dark” world of Everlost, as Allie so eloquently puts it. A great ending for a wonderful trilogy!

I absolutely adored this series by Neal Shusterman. It's unique and has a really interesting world. I love the details of how the kids in Everlost interact with the afterlife and the world of the living (if they can).

I thought that overall book three ended exactly how it should and the entire series came full circle. Allie was by far the strongest character and Nick and Mary got the most appropriate conclusions for their characters.

Perfect wrap up to the series. Shusterman didn't play it safe and went all out with this final installment.

I had a hard time getting into this one because the author introduced new character and this was the final book in the trilogy. I really didn't want new characters at this point! But the author redeemed himself and the trilogy ended beautifully. Great series for reluctant readers.

The very worst thing about this book is that this world had to come to an end with the books. Thank goodness I can visit again the next time I read the trilogy.

The very best thing about this book is how incredibly detailed the entire story has been. You just can’t beat good writing, good story-telling, and attention to detail. ^_^ Thank you, Mr. Shusterman, for sharing this masterpiece with us! I love when a series gets better as it progresses.
