I am not into the occult, but I like the idea of oddities and curiosities, so I checked this book out. It really left a lot to desire. In fact, there was not too much that made me want to flip back into this book later. It isn't really a travelogue, nor is it a summary of weird places, it is just an overview of destinations, with no real value in the descriptions.

Definitely one of few books of this type--I hope Llewellyn invests in similar guides for the rest of the USA. As with most Llewellyn books, this one could have used a more competent editor, but that is to be expected. Still, it's a fun and unusual resource.

I really loved exploring this book for everything witchy and magical in my local area! One day I would love to hop up and down the state in a search for something fun, but alas, my wallet is small and gas is expensive. If you live in any of the aforementioned states, this book is indispensable!

I wish I was a millionaire so I could travel to all of these places, and tour the state and places for months on end. Someone hire me as a travel blogger for this! I won't disappoint lol.
