Queens and Kings, Gods and Goddesses

The Hemlock Queen being the second book in the Nightshade Series gives us far more information.

Personally I’m a Gabe fan when it comes to the romantic interest, but I can see the Bastion pull as well. I’m excited to see how these relationships continue to move further in the series (I’m assuming there will be more, but not certain)

This book follows Lore as her life is once again turned on its head. I am glad we are getting more understanding of the history of all our favorite characters and how life/power is a cycle.

I don’t know what book to compare it to, but it is written very well and everyone should read it. The world building, character development, and magic system is so unique and skillfully accomplished.

This was prettt bad, which is sad cause the first book was so good. Hoping the next book is better, so I can finish the story
