I loved the Green Lantern Animated Series, which we've recently watched again. The voices, the visual design, and the music were perfect. This collection of the first five issues of the graphic novel companion series is pretty good, too. Each story is short and mostly self-contained. Very little other than the characters themselves ties into story arcs from the TV show. I know this graphic novel series isn't stellar, but I'm still so disappointed that the TV series was canceled, I'll take any small reminders of it that I can get.

I was a big fan of this series, so it was fun to have this version of these characters back in comic book form. The story is light, but it was a fun, breezy read.
