As a whole I think this run was very well done. The artwork was gorgeous the entire way through and I loved the subtle variations in style at different points. The storyline kept me engaged - there were a few spots I had to reread to understand, but I was definitely invested in all the characters throughout. Very solid installment in the Black Widow legendarium.

I want to say again, the artwork is STUNNING. Literally beautiful from the art style to the colour pallet.

Another volume full of cameos and call backs, great action, and our favourite cat being treated like the queen she is.

At times the inner monologue did seem repetative and stilted but I think it does relect how Nat is living her life and how she refuses to let herself feel emotions she feels she doesnt deserve.

I feel like we wrapped up some threads well and left others open go explore in future runs!

This volume shows Natasha choosing to face the future head on instead of trying to remove all the red in her ledger. Choosing the Avengers over S.H.I.E.L.D. I guess means choosing to do good with a team with a family so she wouldn't be in a position again of morally gray areas alone. However the series failed to prove how big of a threat Chaos is like every other evil groups in Marvel Universe. But it's good to know how far she'd gone in those early days as a KGB spy.

I am definitely sad to see this run come to an end, but I do love how it left off. Natasha is still a big mystery, but that's her character and she will always stay that way. We saw a lot more of the cold hard assassin in this volume as well as the beginning and end of it.

I will definitely be looking into more of Noto's work because his art continues to wow me, and Edmondson's story-telling is still one that I want more of, even if it is with different characters.
