I liked this one far more than part one. Melvin definitely has it coming to him this time, even if I’ve felt in the past Pilkey has been overly nasty to his character. It’s also more focused on body switching and time travel hijinks instead of endless pages of booger descriptions. Also the portapotty TARDIS made me smile and the little one was super into the story.

A nice conclusion to the arc started in the last book. I really like these for my son. They have inspired him to learn (and use) new words and shown him how fun it is to be engaged in a story. (I also appreciated all the Dad humor puns scattered through every book. I snorted at "the capes of wrath").
