"5 out of 5 stars! Shayla is looking for a way to save her (few week old) niece, Aislinn, and she’s at her wits end. The doctors have all basically given up on her, so now Shayla decides to take Aislinn to Aislinn’s father in hopes he’ll have an idea in how to help. Yet in doing so opens up more questions than answers. Will they be able to trust each other enough to overcome Aislinn’s problem and become a family of sorts? Or will outside forces tear their family apart even more?
With this being a short story/novella, I really liked how its setup and flow was written. It has an intriguing premise too that made me feel that for it being a paranormal romance it was plausible in its execution. In addition, it didn’t hurt that with its feisty characters I was entertained the whole way through..."
