I really enjoyed the second story in this series! Charlie is an interesting character and her bond with her cousins and family is lovely!

The two mysteries in this story were chilling. I rooted for Charlie as she uncovered deep secrets and found the truth.

I loved Tom Sharon in this story and that’s all I will say on that one, so I don’t spoil anything!

Definitely going to read the rest. I would say I’m officially hooked.

The second book in the Witches of Palmetto Point series, we once again meet Charlie, and her charming family of psychics, magic users, and other. I quite enjoy that this still runs with the southern Gothic murder mystery theme, but have to say, they have a lot of serial killers in their small town, lol. We got to solve two disconnected mysteries with Charlie, both with their own twists and turns. I quite like the new lover interest Tom Sharon, but am still rooting for the first novel's main man Jason Tate. I also loved that we got to see some positive changes in Charlie's life, particularly where her son was concerned. The only thing I truly disliked was that we didn't really get a resolution for the Brianna storyline. Yes it's all wrapped up and things are pretty much fixed, but I wanted to know more.

Very disappointed. Poorly written. Almost mechanical. Skipping the third book in the series.
