You need to come into this CYOA knowing that it is meant to be funny and awkward and not historically accurate. It is also not meant to be a fully developed romantic plot. The book is only 360 pages and with the many different paths you can take, each romantic interest ends up being an insta-love affair.

If you realize all these things at the beginning and approach it as a fun, easy read, you are in for a treat!

I've read some choose-your-own-adventure novels recently and this one is definitely the least enjoyable. It is too serious. A proper romance. It would have been better if it had been written as a satire. It's hard to pick your next choice in the story if you hate both... But it was still easy to read and I had some fun trying to pick the right choice and then going back to explore more options.

Cringeworthy.

Kudos for the attempt but this book lacks any central narrative other then, "you want to get laid. How should you go about it?"

With werwolves, ghosts, spies, arsonists, murderers all lurking about it should seem astonishing that you find love so readily and yet, you do. In fact, you find love with all of those people. It takes a special type of woman, you, who is equally talented at everything in life and able to be completely successful, with no training, at every profession which you attempt.

It should be a bit of fun but really it only trying. Hard to get into any of the characters or care about any of the choices. Bit of a miss for me.

Het was een fun boek. Wel ging het soms wat te snel voor mij waardoor ik wat informatie mis. Maar goed mijn plot ging ook overal naartoe met de keuze die ik maakte :)

I received this copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I absolutely loved this book! The idea of a choose your own adventure/romance is brilliant and the stories and path that you can choose are quite funny and witty as well. Definitely a keeper and a book worth reading.
