Solid fight scene. Cool conclusion. Minus a start for Aang and Katara calling each other "sweetie" multiple times.

there's so much hostility and it doesn't even feel like good tension - i'm just uncomfortable.
and Katara is sounding like a child sometimes, but she also knows what she's talking about IDK

Of course both sides have pros and cons, and I'm sure Aang will come up with a compromise by the next book.

Of course that guy turned out to be evil. But I like how they make the point that evil shouldn’t be met with evil and that the rebel faction is wrong too. Kind of the same thing going on as in the fire nation, which is either a repeat of the same story or telling of how people are reacting to a new world.

A comic series continuation of Avatar the Last Airbender. #2 in a 3 part series, Katara battles her feelings with her fathers new girlfriend, who is apart of the Northern Water Tribe compamy digging for Oil in the south. A group of southern water tribesmen have gone rogue and are working on the grounds of terrorism to win the tribes favour. What ive always loved about ATLA is their ability to take hard hitting, reallife issues while staying the base of the fantasy world and staying true to good morals and real emotions
Graphic: Injury/Injury detail, Violence, Colonisation, and War

By far the best volume out of all five series. I've never been more excited to read the next volume!! Gene Luen Yang has outdone himself with this storyline, and Gurihiru's art has never been more evocative.
