It might have taken me a long while to get caught up, but that's not an indication of me putting this off. I just have ADHD.

This is how you end a longstanding run.

At this point, Dan Slott has tied up practically every loose end possible.

As a result, I hope the next Amazing Spider-Man run doesn't involve Doctor Octopus or Green Goblin like at all.

Dan Slott, thanks for being MY Spider-Man writer.

Big. Fairly fun. I was put off a little by Peter a little not acting like Peter, I thought . In particular
SpoilerI wanted him to not be Spider-Man for a little longer, to safeguard his loved ones. Him defeating the Red Goblin as Peter, rather than Spider-Man would have been a story
. Excellent work from the supporting characters, though, especially Flash Thompson and Norman Osborne.

What a grand finale. A convergence of all of Slott's characters and threads. I don't want to say more, but this was a beautiful and heartbreaking book.

Took me a while to get to this one, but it was a phenomenal finale to Dan Slott's Spider-Man run. I enjoyed it, beginning from end; Slott has penned a great many of my favourite Spider-Man stories (how could he not, he was the one writing ASM when I began reading it and was still writing it when I took a long break from Marvel comics). It's been a good era for Spider-Man fans, this one. I look forward to seeing what Nick Spencer has done with this character since 2018.

It's a pleasing

Dan Slot should have left after the clone conspiracy. Maybe earlier. I liked his run, but this was just not a great ending to it.

This was fun as an intense, chaotic Spider-man showdown, but fell pretty flat as a conclusion to the Spider-Man Worldwide story. I've been following this story since day one and wanted a little payoff. This didn't provide that.

I go in to detail on my love of this run in this Spider-themed episode of the All the Books Show: https://soundcloud.com/allthebooks/off-the-books-spider-man-comics.
