So good! It's kinda crazy how much I actually like Thrawn?? He's appeared in several of the live action / animated tv shows and have hated his character. These books give a lot more detail into how he actually thinks and some of his character motivations. I'm still a little confused on how his portrayal on screen matches with these books, but maybe that's just because the tv show is through a rebels perspective. I wish I would be able to see actually how he ends up (or does he??) back with the Chiss and how he leverages his Imperial experience to finally help his people. Ugh I was supposed to take a break after book one... and book two... and here I am finally finishing this trilogy and all I want to do is start the newest trilogy lmao. We'll see. Great trilogy closer!

This novel suffers the most from Thrawn's inclusion in Rebels. The plot is cramped into an extremely short span of time, but succeded nonetheless. This novel is the proper follow up to Thrawn. It expands on the characters, and ideas laid out in that one. The plot, action, and plans are all enjoyable. I only wish that the novel wasn't so limited by the demands of outside Media.

Thrawn is always a fun character and I like Eli Vanto. Ronan was an annoying character to need to spend as much of the book as we did in the head of, though.

Another wonderful Thrawn book. He is truly one of the more interesting characters in the Star Wars universe and Timothy Zahn has done a wonderful job of keeping him so with his books.

Significant improvement over book two, still not quite as captivating as book one. Overall, a fairly satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
Also, trying hard to not crack a It's treason then joke.
