Great writing. A bit quirky, which seems to be my draw right now. It started out great but lost momentum. I may need to revisit later.
lots of uh ghost sex?
um i think i just wanted the book to be what the first 1/3 was but by the last half i wanted it to be more like that. i think i liked both premises and deliveries, just wished she picked one to do because it ended without much of a conclusion while still missing a lot of set up. i liked the writing and characters a lot though. just wish we got to spend more time with them. it read very quickly and even parts i didn't find fascinating were still quick and not damaging to the parts i liked. i don't think i've ever been this confused or indecisive on if i liked it or not but i did like the ending themes (i think?)

Status: completely frustrated with how things turned out that I don't know what to make of it. It still irks me that I can't quite grasp what the author wants to get across but for now, 2 stars. Its creative oddity worked well at the beginning but then it began to slowly ebb away and things just got... too tangled. I might reread this in the future but truth be told: the story would do just fine without Mark's POV.

One of those dark, quirky novels that I eat right up. It’s so off-the-wall that I wouldn’t know who to recommend it to, but I enjoyed the writing style and the creativity behind it.
was anything actually said in this book??? did i just read sex scene after sex scene after sex scene for no reason
also why are we all ignoring the fact she lowkey raped him ?? he said he didnt wanna have sex...she made him feel guilty...and continued having sex with him even though she said he looked like he was in pain :)
also why did both male characters have to be misogynistic i feel like women who aren’t sure how to tackle a male perspective just use misogyny to differentiate the voice sometimes lol

The horniest, most nonsensical book I've ever read. This story had so much potential, but squandered it away trying to be artsy and profound, completely missing the mark in the process.
slow-paced
it was good while I read it but I know it's not a book that will stick around with me and I would probably forget all about it.
