Not Sonic comics being unbelievably brutal... They're really not sparing anyone, huh. It hurt a lot to see Cream so torn up about Cheese and Chocola. I was expecting that someone with an infection would slip them by and mix with the refugees, but maybe that would have actually crossed the line in terms of brutality in Sonic media. One thing that doesn't make sense to me, though, is how Gemerl did not get infected by touching the zombots as he fought them.

It was so painfully obvious that Mr. Ultimate Life Form was going to be infected after "You cannot infect the Ultimate Life Form!!" Thank you for manifesting that into existence, Shadow.

Omega was hilarious, and the highlight of this collection for me. Please give him a jaw and have him bite people's ankles.

Then I fully expected Starline to ditch Eggman because please, you put this silly man, who puts his stupid face on every one of his creations, on a pedestal... now you're paying the price!! I find him interesting, particularly his penchant for creating vortexes and other nonsense, so I wonder how he'll supplant the good doctor...

Following the good relationship set ups in the first arc this arc had been really fun. I legitimately believe this is a group of people who are friends and work well together in their fields. I also adore omega and silver and sonic relationship in this and I appreciate how Amy and Rouge are being treated. I wonder when the big bads will get to angel island. 10/10 comic

I think this is the longest I’ve stuck with a run of Sonic since my childhood which is both surreal and nostalgic. Reading this new(er) series gives me that memory of when I’d eagerly await new volumes every comic shop visit with my dad.

Anyway, when some of the most upbeat characters get serious… you know it’s getting risky. I’m still loving this plotline and the mini focus on Team Chaotix at the beginning was great!! I love everyone’s unity even as we bring in teams that rarely work together. Also Omega continues to be one of my favorite characters in this franchise.

“INSTALL A JAW MECHANISM. I WILL BITE THEIR ANKLES OFF.”

Looking forward to what comes next!! This robot virus is definitely reaching intense heights.
