Even better than the first book! The series does not have to be read in order to be enjoyed, but if you did pick up the haunted housewives, you get to meet the whole family again from the thirtysomething heroine Cleo Tidwell, to her pack of nieces, to her zany mother-in-law, this time while taking a romp down the Florida Gulf Coast. I can think of a few things more horrifying then suddenly having your dog turn into a teenage daughter, but sullivan finds the humor in everything. Part mystery, part southern humor, liberally sprinkled with paranormal creatures. Fans of the Stephanie Plum novels will rejoice in her older southern sister, Cleo Tidwell.
