I definitely liked Keeping 13 more than Binding 13, but there were still some things that didn't vibe with me. I got somewhat attached to the characters, I did tear up in some scenes, but I don't think this couple will really stay with me. Johnny was acting like a man child with anger issues, and I just really didn't vibe with that. And Shannon was just so small and so fragile and so so so tiny. I know, you don't have to tell me every chapter. 
But on the other hand, I liked how every character had their own issues to deal with. Sometimes Gibsie really pissed me off and sometimes he was my favorite. I just have to take into consideration that they are still very young, and young people do stupid shit. Even with its faults, I enjoyed reading this and it is worthy of a 4 star read in my eyes. I'm excited for Joeys book when I get around to reading it.

the way this book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions was not ok. laughing one minute then sobbing the next. but it was so worth it. i’m a bit upset the next books aren’t following Johnny and Shannon :_(
