Genuinely one of the best fricking books I have ever read. Such an emotional roller coaster, I laughed, cried, and everything else in between. This book has such a beautiful storyline and an amazing group of characters. There were so many heartwarming moments, so many laughs (mostly with Gibsie’s crazy ass dialogue), and so many times where I wanted to throw the book across the room in a fit of rage. Johnny and Shannon’s story will have a special place in my heart from here on out. Chloe Walsh is a damn genius and I want to thank her for being so real.

I absolutely loved Binding 13, and for the first 400 pages of Keeping 13, I was just as obsessed. Johnny and Shannon still had that same magnetic pull, and I loved seeing their relationship deepen as they navigated the aftermath of everything they’d been through. But around the halfway mark, I found myself thinking, “Okay… time to start rounding this off now.” The story began to drag. It was still moving forward, but some scenes felt unnecessarily long or like filler that didn’t really add much to the story. Honestly, if Keeping 13 had been about 200 pages shorter, Johnny and Shannon's story would’ve been perfect.
