Absolutely brilliant 2nd book in the trilogy! The way Drizzt always finds a way to live up to his principles in spite of his surroundings is inspiring. I also love that it’s realistic about it as well. Not every moral choice he makes ends up working out for him and it’s nice to see from a book that was written in an era where “good guys” were infallible.

Cannot wait to read the 3rd and move on to the next trilogy in the series!

Oh, Drizzt... I've loved Drizzt ever since playing in the Forgotten Realms (have I mentioned that I am an unashamed geek? because I am!). If you start off with the Icewind dale trilogy then you miss out on so much of what makes Drizzt the sad, broken, yet ultimately strong Drow that he is, and really, that's just sad. Go read this series!
