The main character is excellent. I loved the first book in the series and gave it a 5. The only reason I gave this one a 4 is because there are too many characters. I like my books with a lot of characters to just say "the bartender" not give me his name and background if he has nothing to do with the book later. But other than that a great book and I ordered the 3rd and will be reading it soon.
