THIS BOOK. My jaw is on the floor. I cannot believe the ability of B.A. Paris to lead us calmly on one path, a slow burn but still intriguing story....and then crack the door open on what is really going on. And then BUST IT DOWN and the second half was seriously a heart-poundingly race that I could not put down. I was SCREAMING at the ending and my husband had to check on me and I could not even put into words what had gone down. B.A. Paris is my favorite author and this might be my favorite book. The characters are perfectly crafted to be used how the authors needs them to and I was thoroughly reeled in.
Thanks to the publisher for the eARC!

Happy publication day !!
Thank you NetGalley for this digital ARC. I was thrilled to get my hands on the guest. This is my 4th read by B.A Paris & I typically love their writing style.
The Guest was detailed as a domestic drama so I was anticipating fast paced layers of chaos but I actually found it hard to connect with the story. The short chapters felt choppy at first and it also seemed like a lot of characters to figure out. After a few chapters it all started to flow. I still however did not connect nor did I like the characters. But the one thing that saved the story for me was the ending. B.A Paris will always wrap it up with a “gotcha” kind of stunner.
7/10. Id recommend to anyone that is looking for drama. In the best way, this felt like a late night soap opera
