meh.

i think maybe these books are better to read than they are heard. i read the first one and loved it but i listened to the second and third and was pretty bored, but i seem to be in the minority.

2.5 stars. Don't Let Go was a little bit of disappointment to end what is a very interesting series. 60% of book is repetitive and involves the characters doing the same thing - it was very drawn out. The ending was a little anti climatic, I believed the conclusion would be a little less cliche than it was.

What you're in for: On the run. Hacking. Action. Traps. Surprises. Disappointment.

My Thoughts:
This book was a big disappointment. I really enjoyed Don't Turn Around (the first book in the series) and thought this was going to be a great trilogy. Unfortunately, though, it all went downhill after the first book. I didn't care for Don't Look Now (the second book). But, I thought that it was just a filler book and suffered from the oh-so-common "middle book syndrome." So, I still wanted to read the final book, thinking it would be better and complement the first book. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I think I disliked it even more than the second book.

The characters in this one are boring. They are nothing like in the first book. There was nothing exciting about them or the story, really, in this book.

Probably the only thing going for this book is that it is a pretty unique storyline. Also, my investment in the characters from falling in love with them in the first book carried me to the conclusion of this final book (even though I lost interest in them and found that I didn't care about them as much anymore).

Sigh...I should have stopped reading and just left it after the first book.
