a bit too fast paced/short imo, i felt i could have had a longer ending but a really interesting premise and setting and it was captivatingly written. plus what’s not to love about BOG BODIES!

Writing style was unique and, although a little tricky to get into, added a lot to the dreamy quality of the whole story. I was so fearful that this would have a tragic ending, but the fact that it ended with two women coming to the rescue really healed some part of me. The fact that it seemed so obvious that the 17 year old girl would be victimized, just as is suggested of the bog girls throughout the story, yet it is through a college girl and a midwife that we as the readers are shown just how absurd it all is. Loved it. Hard to put into words how it made me feel.

Hazy and foreboding, as uncomfortable as a sticky summer afternoon, and won't take much longer than that to finish. I let the bath go cold because I didn't want to put it down.
