Not a book for me. I felt like the story didn’t make sense and was pretty boring.

Cute, but not really an informational potty training book. Ducky rips off her diaper and tries using the potty because her friend Piggy is using the potty. We never learn whether Ducky is successful in self-potty training, or really, much of anything except that ducks and pigs look cute reading on a potty!

Ducky has a friend come over who can use the potty like a big kid, and Ducky (gender is unspecified) begins to notice how wet and uncomfortable a diaper is and soon is taking a turn on the potty.

simple, inviting, repetitive text and pictures. joe repeats parts of the book, often while on his potty. i think this book has helped him the most of the potty training books we've gotten from the library.
