This was my first time reading this author, I’m always happy to give a new author a try because you never know if you’ll discover a new person to love to read.
This was okay. The story felt a bit fractured, like it was trying to cover too much ground in the short time it had. I would have been happy with more focus on creating an emotional bond between the characters and driving up the heat level with wanting and needing and would have flung a good chunk of the other stuff to the wayside.
This is an author with potential, but this didn’t quite get there for me.
