Although this is a fictional children's picture book, it is based on the author's real-life experiences of growing up left-handed and an artist in Russia, then moving to NYC in childhood. This book is written and illustrated by Yevgenia Nayberg.

*taps mic* This review goes out to all my fellow lefties out there. 💪💕

The right hand took care of the world around Anya. The left hand took care of the world inside Anya.

Listen, being a left-handeder, life is difficult sometimes. We deserve our own secret society. This was the book I needed as a kid. I'll be adding it, in all it's gloriousness, to my personal collection.

Sort of autobiographical.
