So far the 3rd installment of the series is the best out of the 3 currently released (since writing this review). There's more action, there's more drama, there's definitely more excitement. It was predictable, but it was still pretty good. I also think the writting is better. There's definitely a big improvement comapred to the first 2. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Copper Veins is the first book in the series that I've read, as it states it can be read as a standalone so when I started reading I was taken on a journey through a new world full of magic and elementals and it was a journey worth taking. There were a few parts in the book I found slightly confusing but that could be from not reading the first two books beforehand but I can say I enjoyed this one so much I am definitely going to go back and read the first two books.

I really enjoyed Sara and Micah's relationship, during this book they are separated regularly and had more than one person trying to split them apart but they never once fazed them. The idea of metal elementals was something I found interesting, I loved learning how their metal powers work and look forward to finding out more.

Overall I enjoyed the unique ideas in this book and the new exciting world it took me too and I would recommend it to my friends as well as the first two books. I have given it a four-star rating because even though I enjoyed the book as I said before I found a few parts slightly confusing.
This book is a YA book and if you enjoy reading YA then give this book a go!
