I must be a little jaded toward the whole manic pixie dream girl trope, because I wanted to LOVE this book but, the FMC made me cringe so hard. The author does capture the child-like whimsy of a late diagnosed ADHD fly by the seat of her pants nomad street performer super well, however she made her too much. Too quirky, too (I'm not like other girls) for me to find this character believable. I loled exactly 7 times, chuckled 3 times, and scoffed numerous times while reading this book. I would have dnfed this book at 70 percent, but.i trudged on and the ending did pay off, hence 3.5 stars.

I really enjoyed this meet cute book! Easy read and I was rooting for Raine and Jack. I appreciated how the two main characters were both neurodivergent. I think this is a great way to learn about how ADHD and OCD affect every day life for those that don’t know much about it!

A wandering musician traveling abroad and a local pub owner recognize themselves in each other in a cute, open door with mild spice romance. The depictions of OCD and ADHD were the best part for me.

Very cute. Loved the representation of mental health and how Raine and Jack were able to support each other
