Beautiful and interesting, but not quite what I was looking for. Tigers themselves aren't really a main focus of the book, it has much more to say about the mythology and spiritual relationship that the people of Sundarbans have with them and with the tiger god, Daksin Ray. It's mainly that, with occasional brief recountings of the locals tiger stories. Still very interesting and worth the read, but if you're just looking for information and stories about the animals themselves you probably won't enjoy it.
