Great if you're looking for a quick, easy read. I enjoy the mystery/thriller stories but my only catching point is how these stories often read as "USA #1 RAH RAH RAH EAGLE SCREECH FREEDOM RAAAAAH" brand propaganda. I find myself rooting for the bad guys occasionally, even though I do enjoy and expect the good guys to come out on top.

Reading this Nov 2021, after what our country has gone through in the last two years with regard to a global pandemic, I had to keep checking the publication date to make sure it actually had been written before COVID-19 was a thing. Very relevant to our current situation with regard to a virus. Well written, as always, and an excellent installment.

A story worthy of Mitch Rapp and Vince Flynn. Kyle Mills has continued this series in exemplary fashion, showing that he is a writer worthy of this assignment.

My first Mitch Rapp series book. Worth reading if only for the relatively mindless distraction it offered from the news of the day.

Seemed endless, with a lot more graphic violence than in the past. However, his description of the USA politicians & pandemic threat could have been taken directly from today's newspapers.

Mitch Rapp has lived to fight another day, but I won't be reading about it.

MUCH BETTER than Red War. Scary to think about how many events that happened in 2020 were foreshadowed in this novel.

foreshadowing

Don’t know how but Kyle foreshadows in one sentence how the american public would react to a pandemic. Fascinating stuff

I agree with other reviewers, this is Kyle Mills getting a bit further from Flynn’s Rapp, so not quite the same traditional story, but still very good. Still Mitch Rapp kicking @ss and taking names and once again saving the world for people who don’t always appreciate his work.
Probably not the best book to start the series with, but an excellent addition to the compendium of stories.
