I didn't finish reading. Very rarely happens. almost never. That's not to say it's a bad book... it just wasn't for me. I go half way through, so I was definitely trying..

It's so beautiful. Rumi does an excellent job of describing ecstatic love for Allah.

i am touched and stirred, but the translations are harsh on some poems. Rumi has this magical power of creating mystical thoughts that later turns into poems.

Actually quite enjoyed the book but had to realize I just wasn't in a place mentally to be reading poems. Definitely mean to pick it back up one day though.
