One of my coworkers asked for a recommendations for a mother daughter book club and as I wrote this one on the list, I decided it was finally time to get it off my TBR. It’s a yes for our MS collection and delightfully messy in a way my readers asking for Drama (capital D intended) will enjoy. For me, an old lady, I found the last 40% a little chaotic but that’s just Abby’s energy I guess.

Absolutely adorable. Parent Trap vibes but cute and modern. Summer camp nostalgia too, even though I never went to a proper sleepaway camp.

The characters were younger than I thought they would be, from a quick glance at the blurb. (Clearly, I missed the part that said "summer camp"...) Nonetheless, quite an enjoyable read and a little deeper than I thought it would be.

I liked it at the beginning but as it went it got more and more frustrating, all the lies every one said to each other. Specially the parents, the kids are kids after all but the parents, I couldn’t take the selfishness.
