Dear World, I am angry and I am hurt. I cannot. Be. Am. Are. Exist any longer. Language has failed me. I am unwanted in all tenses.
This was really, really powerful. I loved it.

This book was beautifully written and talked about hard topics in a way that was well done. I’ve never read from a collective ‘we’ before and it was interesting. It never took me out of the story. However, it was very heard to distinguish which girl was which except for the few main characters.

Augh I love this book to a million pieces. All the girls and their struggles. How they went to save anyone they could. On top of that the amazing magical world. While reading this book I heard Wild Things by Alessia Cara in the back of my head the whole time. This is my favorite read this year.. so far.

I could tell it was well-written but I had a hard time keeping the characters straight in my head. Since I listened as an audiobook, it was a little more difficult to get through because there are some non-English words which threw off the flow a bit. Overall, it was an interesting read but I wouldn't recommend it to many people.

I want to give a 3.5, I'll round to 4. because the plot was just a little bit confusing. It was kind of hard to keep track of how this world works. I'm still unsure about what the Keeper of Between does, I'm still unsure about everyone's roles, the ppl in power, how magic comes to be, and how everything came to be but I really enjoyed the narration. I think all girls can relate to this. There's a lot of anger, sadness, and healing that went into this book. It's really obvious in how it was written and for that I give the 4, but objectively it was just a tad hard to follow.
