I loved this 2nd installment of Hell’s Belles, and the fun adventure that the two characters shared. I did miss the other Belles, I thought they would have been a bigger part of the story.
These feel like modern women in an historical setting, but I’ve enjoyed the series so far.

Ugh, Sarah MacLean and Mary Jane Wells continue to be my favorite author/audiobook narrator duo. I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed this book if I were reading the physical copy, but why would I do that when I can listen to Mary Jane Wells narrate it? Adelaide and Henry were perfect. Loved both perspectives, loved their overall story, loved that he’d been pining over her for years before they actually had time together. As always, love everything about Hell’s Belles and cannot imagine not having a blast with these books.

+Henry is so whipped for Adelaide
+The belles even if...
-no t enough if the belles
-no groveling even if Henry behaved quite badly (honestly, in her podcast Sarah maclean claimed to love a grovel but where is it?)

The male love interest messed up the main character's plans so many times and then didn't apologize or even seem to realize he'd done so! Annoying.
