I got this because I loved the cover art, and because I generally enjoy horror, but I was a bit disappointed. Although the writer is trying, he isn't able to build up to the terror and madness that I think he is trying to coney (the stories are described as a love letters to Lovecraft), and it turns out a bit repetitive and boring instead. Also, I didn't expect as much as half the book to be a gallery of artwork, so I felt a bit cheated.
