Very rarely a book leaves me feeling empty and sad when it ends. This book did that, what am I supposed to do with my life now that this book is done? I could imagine sitting in a Pub with Strike drinking a pint and eating steak and chips, discussing cases and theorys. I would sit with Robin and discuss with her her life with Matthew and how I hate the fact that she has to change/hide who she really is and wants to be to make him happy. I LOVE these characters and wouldn't mind reading several more books staring them. This is ther perfect "who done it" book. It constantly keeps you guessing. What you think is the answer, isn't. Who you think did it, didn't. I love Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling)!!

Fun whodunit with enough intrigue and wild characters to keep the pages turning.

I can not believe I did not figure out the ending! I really thought I had it, but I was wrong.

I really like these books. I am not a mystery fan; however, I really like the characters.

It did drag a bit in the middle with the incessant throb of Strike's knee and the jealousy of Robin's Matthew. But the mystery plot was still fascinating and had me guessing the entire time.
