My favorite book so far in the Amulet series. Emily and Navin continue on their journey to find the city of Cielis. In order to do this, they must find an airship and captain who can take them there. With some unexpected allies joining them along the way, Emily must learn how to use the stone for defense, try to overcome new challenges, and defeat an assassin stowaway.

The storyline in this graphic novel leaves me wanting a bit more, but it's understandable as it's a juvenile novel. The artwork is fantastic, though. It's honestly some of the best I've seen in this medium. I think this would be a good one for kids wanting to get into graphic novels, or parents wanting to read a g.n. with their kids. It's really great for what it is.
