Frost is on the case when his estranged friend Denny, whom he hasn't seen in years, dies on his door step. Denny whispers one cryptic word to Frost and it sets off a chain of events that has Frost investigating Denny's life and business. Teaming up with a P.I., Frost learns not all is as it seems and there's no one to trust as the two of them tie multiple murders over the years with an urban legend that is decidedly real. Wealthy business owners, politicians, escorts, and possibly bad cops has Frost questioning everything as he tries to uncover why Denny was killed. More murders and attempts on his life has Frost in a killer's cross hairs who will stop at nothing to silence the investigation. Fast paced & unputdownable with a shocking twist!

Another good one...

Brian Freeman delivers another good read. Kept me interested all the way to the end.

How about that ending.... whoa!

I loved this third installment of the Frost Easton series. It kept me guessing. Or waiting at least till the end to confirm any niggling suspicions. Fun ride and I hope there are more.

Trust no one.

I love this series. Inspector Frost Easton is such an interesting character and the author is amazing at keeping you on your toes! Just when I thought I knew the twist, the whole world turns upside down. Unexpected turns throughout, right up until literally the last line.

Very excited for the inevitable next book!

A great continuation of this series. Left me on a cliffhanger and I’m frustrated that the fourth book isn’t out yet.
