Grant and Bekah had the deck stacked against them. From their one night stand to her internship at his company to her fathers dirty deals, their unlikely relationship had more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. Throw in a baby and you have a highly emotional, heart wrenching story that had me laughing and crying. Great characters and a storyline that I did not want to end made this book a great read that I would highly recommend.

This was not my cup of tea. I nearly gave up on the book a couple times. The story had potential, but some parts were just too much. The FMC frustrated me a lot and came off as very dense at times. I have read other Nicole Snow books in the past that I enjoyed, but this one was not it for me.

I graciously received an ARC of this book and finally got around to posting my review.

I loved this book. From the get go the chemistry between Grant and Bekah was amazing. They had great sexual tension as well as a deeper connection neither of them is immediately aware of, but that's what makes it fun.

I loved the action scenes, they really added to the story and the mystery throughout the book kept you guessing right up until the plot twist at the end.

Last thing I want to say, the relationship between Grant and his brother was great to read about, they'd do anything for each other and have each others backs until the end!

Grant Shaw was a man looking for a quick hookup and a quiet weekend in his cabin and then he meets Bekah and they share a weekend that he can't forget. When Grant begins with the takeover of his new company he never in his wildest dreams expects to find her as his newest intern. Grant tries to stay away from Bekah but everything about her tells him she is for keeps. What Grant doesn't expect to find out that Bekah's father who he is merging companies with is out to betray him and use Bekah as a pawn.

This one surprised me a bit because it took a turn I was not expecting with Bekah's father. I liked Grant and his brothers who make an appearance in the story. Bekah was a great character she is feisty and has no problem putting Grant in his place. Great read.
