I started this series a while ago and forgot about it until I was looking through my list of "to-read" books. Chase Dagger is the most enigmatic of men; no antecedents, so one knows where he hails from, not even Sara Morningsky, the Native American shapeshifter who lives with him. In this episode, our hero gets involved with a mysterious man who returns to Cedar Point, Indiana, after spending five years in jail for tax evasion. Except Mitch Arnosky was also guilty of several murders that the CPPD were unable to pin on him. Now, he is back and Dagger wants to know why. As he investigates, more bodies turn up, but no one can see who is responsible, even with surveillance video. There is just no one there. Or is there? Have the Alphabet Boys (FBI, CIA, NSA, DOD, etc.) finally created an invisibility suit? Along with the rest of his gang of miscreants, Dagger figures it all out.
