I quite enjoyed this one, not so much a spy novel as a detective one. I preferred the previous book to this one.

I am looking forward to reading the masterpiece that is next in the series.

Slightly disappointed. The book was a little like John le Carre meets Agatha Christie. Clever plot - building suspense very well. George Smiley too! I did like the book, honestly!

Note to self: Don't assume you've unravelled the plot even if the author wants you to think you did it. Especially when there are 10 more pages left.
