Definitely not one of Brown’s usual silver tongued heroes. Cooper is rude and crude. I have no issue with a gruff mc because the woman usually balances him out by not taking his garbage.
I did feel like all secondary characters were caricatures and I didn’t love the lead up to the end. Cooper needed to do a little groveling and begging before his happy ending.
