The one where Gallifrey becomes Hogwarts and really cool lore is set up - it stops just short of mentioning looms though :(

i loved this so much. it was really nice to see mary tamm finally get her catharsis, and the idea of romana at the centre of the imperiatrix plot makes so much sense when you take into account to guardian situation, plus the neverland shit that went on. also i'm loving the increasing characterisation of braxiatel, would not be surprised if he turned out to be one of the guardians himself. i wish we could have seen a bit more action from leela, especially in the aftermath of losing andred, but i'm also not complaining that we're getting a romana-centric storyline. my queen, my love <3

Romana explores the matrix and meets herself - yes, at long last we have Mary Tamm returning as Romana I, explaining why she chose to regenerate at the start of Destiny of the Daleks. Also the set-up for the rest of the series.[return][return]http://nhw.livejournal.com/976063.html#cutid1

This series is surprisingly, wonderfully, talk-y. Much of it rests on solid writers and tremendous actors doing their stuff. The plot thickens...

I enjoyed this very much and was glad to hear the first Romana in the Doctor Who world again.
Getting an answer as to why Romana regenerated seemingly on a whim that first time, was good to hear. After long last!
