Extremely intriguing
This is the story of Mónica. A young woman that tells us about her life and the circumstances that she faced during her youth.
This was a pretty interesting book. I found myself with mixed feelings at the end. The story itself was quite intriguing. It had many engaging plot twists, that boosted me enough to keep reading. I genuinely wanted to know what would happen to Mónica.
The beginning of the novel was a bit hard for me. Especially because I couldn't seem to get along with the protagonist. I found her a bit unbearable. But as the story developed I learned to accept her. I believe that was exactly what the writer wanted to provoke.
I really liked the way the writer presented the characters. With a deep and coherent background for each.
Overall, it was an intriguing and entertaining book. Also, it was well-written, with a personal writing style.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.
