I loved this book! It was scary, funny, and a great mystery! The begging isn't so great but then when you keep reading, you won't want to stop! It's completly unpridictible and has a great story-line. It wasn't to scary but it was. This booked hooked me the whole time, I wish the other made a seiries of these books!

This is honestly one of the best books I've ever read on my whole life.
I can recommend this book to anybody, the writing is amazing, the mystery is thrilling, the angst and grief are a real, I felt the pain of the characters and got scared while reading and read it in one days, I just couldn't t put it down .
I cried so hard ,that's how invested I was by the ending of the book.
Please do you self a favor and read this master piece.

I struggled at tines with this book because I wasn't seeing the point. It didn't help thar I once was a friendless child like Margaret and Boyd. It did help that this was set on an Island in Puget Sound and I have a strong connection to Washington State, where I lived for 7 years.

I struggled with the comic book element of this story, but came to appreciate it in the end. The book turned out to be about the stories we tell ourselves about our lives and the ones we are forced to imagine when others in our lives withhold their truths from us. It is about the drive to discover and redefine the stories of our lives. And it is about the importance of connection.
