I did not like this one at all! I am kind of upset that they are all Merlin missions but I guess we just gotta get used to it. But this was way to long to get to the actual point!

My 5-year-old son (and even my 3-year old daughter) enjoyed listening to this one, though I don't think the story took them in as much as "Dark Day in the Deep Sea" (#39). Still, if it's good enough to keep them interested without a lot of pictures, I'm willing to read through the repetitive dialogue.

The stories laid out in these books are so immersive! I love the little bits of history lessons! I haven't read all of the series up to this point, so my perspective on the overall story is skewed. I'll have to re review after I read the first 7.
