So cute - I ship it. Also I never would've guessed Wesley's real name.

A look inside Wesley Ayers’s mind! YES! Read it here. Wes seemed so mysterious even from Mackenzie’s point of view so I’m glad to finally have a peek inside his mind. And what’s even better is his first name is mentioned here. Yes, his first name!

This short story was so interesting. (Or maybe it’s just because it’s Wesley Ayers but still.) Wes is a really interesting character and I honestly wouldn't mind if Victoria Schwab wrote the third book in his point of view.

«She tangles her fingers with mine and leads me to the bed, and when we get there she climbs onto the covers and makes a Wesley-size space for me beside her, and suddenly the pain means nothing because this moment it perfect.»
WESLEY-SIZE SPACE. If this isn't the cutest thing in the world, I dare you to fight me.
Also, this ending!
My heart sings and I'm crying rainbows. They are so beautiful. Everything about this is absolutely beautiful.

Their relationship was such a welcomed repose from the surrounding gloominess of the series and in this short, adorable story it truly shows that breezy, heartwarming side of their interactions. I'm always glad when authors offer us extra snippets like this.

READ THE SHORT STORY HERE: http://veschwab.wordpress.com/2015/01/06/leave-the-window-open-a-wesley-ayers-story/

This just made me miss The Archived. I miss Mackenzie. I miss Wesley. I miss Roland. I just miss this world and it's fantastic characters.
I was so happy we got this little snippet where we focus on Wesley. He's such a unique character and HIS NAME IS REVEALED. HIS. REAL. NAME. IS. REVEALED.

Also can we just talk about how the last line of this story MELTED MY HEART BECAUSE OF FEELS.

I need a 3rd book and I need it ASAP. I'm not ready to say goodbye to this world or these characters.

Oh and I know Roland wasn't in this story, buuuuut I really want a book where Roland is the main character. I MISS THAT GUY. HE'S THE BEST. & I imagine him having a very interesting past!

I might do a video discussion on this story, because I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS with fellow Archived readers!
