Yet once more: Nikolas Flux has the spectacular, yet uncontrollable ability to time travel to points in the past of historical significance. He's gone back to the Boston tea party, the Salem witch trials, the California gold rush, the battle of the Alamo, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln (President), the attack on Pearl Harbor, the time of the Shackleton Expedition in Antarctica, and now to the Underground Railroad.
I remember hearing about this several times in school, but I wonder if it'll be removed from curriculums because of the current political climate. 🤔 I hope not since Harriet Tubman was a very good woman to help so many people.
I learned about William Conrad, Mary Lewis, that goats were used as a sign of a safe place to hide, and that some white people assisting slaves used fake slave owner papers. I remember none of those things being mentioned back in school.
It's a good sequel. 4 stars.
